When teaching english learners, it is crucial to use lots of pictures. My school only has 2 black and white printers that are frequently out of order. When this happens, I am unable to print out materials for my class. A color printer will allow me to print colored pictures and labels for my english-learning students. This will help with vocabulary and allow them to follow along easier in class. Having my own printer will also ensure my entire class has access to printed materials at all times regardless of if the school printer is working.
