I am requesting pencils, magnets, magnetic labeling tape, timers, pattern stamps and more so that they can create their own learning materials and resources. Students will have the opportunity to create their own learning materials while they review a math concept. This is very important, because they will take ownership of their learning materials and what they are learning will make more sense, specially for English learning students. My students will create their own math flash cards, vocabulary charts, and concept model. The use of technology is not required, but this will be a complement of what they will learning online or at school. This kind of resource provides continuous feedback and promotes discussions.
