With classes being remote, I will be using these books to create book bins that my students can keep at home and exchange them as needed. If we are able to return they will also be able to check out books as they please and take them home to read and share with their families. I would love for my students to see themselves and their classmates in the stories they read. I want them to be inspired and know that their stories are worth telling and sharing. I'm hoping that by bringing good quality literature I can not only ignite this love for reading and learning, but I also use many of these texts to complement the school curriculum.

About my class
