Please help my students learn from more diverse picture books. By having diverse books in the classroom, we are building a stronger community that is more inclusive. I want to include more diverse picture books during our read-aloud time together to make sure all students feel seen and heard and also to use books as a window into how others live and might view themselves. Diverse books also allow learners to see that at the end of the day, we are all human and all have the same feelings.
