Lapboards, dry erase markers, pencils, and paper provide children with a hands-on means for writing and drawing to practice and explore concepts, and demonstrate their understanding of various topics. Clipboards provide students with needed flexibility to find a quiet and comfortable place at home to write.
Ensuring every student in my class has resources at home (including pencils, paper, lapboards, and dry erase markers) to support their learning and demonstrate their understanding is critical.
Please consider helping my fifth grade students by providing materials they need to support distance learning including whiteboards and dry erase markers, pencils, and containers to keep their supplies handy and organized.
I will deliver supplies to my students' homes affording a chance to meet each individual and his/her family in person and begin the important step of forging positive connections and classroom community.
