Distance learning has been a difficult adjustment for my group of eight and nine year old students. By providing my students with headphones, they will be able to tune out the extra noises that come with learning in their own homes. Having a microphone piece attached is important for giving all students a voice in their learning. Students enjoy collaborating with their peers and sharing their ideas. This headphone/microphone set will give my students the extra barrier they need to focus in on our conversations, while also being able to contribute to the conversations and share their thinking and explanations. During this time, students have also greatly missed their friends, and it is nice for them to be able to talk to and hear their classmates.
