Due to the pandemic students will not be allowed to share resources in the classroom. This project will allow for my students to read the fiction novel, City of Ember as a class. This will allow for every student to have their own book to follow along while reading. Also, students will be able to make connections, enhance vocabulary, and participate in classroom discussions. By having enough novels for every student, students will gain reading comprehension skills which will help them in all areas. Students will be able to read on their own and gain reading skills to become strong independent readers.
