These materials will be used by students at home. Many students don't have the opportunity to get supplies. With families working, siblings, and busy schedules all students should be able to have their own set of supplies at home. I will be teaching Special Education for Kindergarten and First grade. Kindergarten and First grade are the prime grades to set the fundamentals for future grades. With proper materials, my students will see that school isn't all that bad and that I will do whatever I can to make sure they have a great, first school experience. For example, students will need crayons and scissors to cut interactive materials out of their math books. I will also, being doing a read-aloud for restorative circle time to keep students engaged with how to treat others around them.
