Hands on activities is essential for student learning. This school year will be a challenge to safely provide students with opportunities to use manipulatives, social distance, and keep their hands sanitized.
Pencil pouches and small containers will allow every student in my classroom to have their own math manipulative kit to use during math lessons. Additionally, students will utilize these materials to safely contain their vocabulary and word study cards. Both the pouches and containers can easily be used at school or home as we transition between face-to-face and virtual learning.
