My students love to collaborate with their peers, and they love artistic, project-based learning. However, sometimes space restrictions prevent us from being able to effectively complete these types of projects. But these desks!! These desks would allow my students more than enough space to spread out, organize their materials, and work as partners or in small groups. They can provide flexible space to work, while giving students their own space and place to put their personal belingings. Currently, my students are operating with desks that are unstable, crooked, and don't move easily. At least once a week, a student's desk will have a loose leg and become unlevel , and we have to interrupt our learning to fix or adjust the desk. Schools don't often purchase new and updated furniture because of budgetary restrictions. For these reasons, I am requesting new desks that will give my students a comfortable, useful, and felxible workspace. They deserve it!
