This fall, NYC public schools will be starting the year with a blended model of in-school and remote learning. Since my students will spend majority of their learning time in distance learning, I am trying to explore new ways to support them academically. Many of my students and their families are unfamiliar with technology.
My project aims to ease the transition between in-school and remote learning and provide students the supports they need to succeed at home. My hope is to supply students with a combination of digital accessories that will increase their participation in distance learning and hands-on materials that will allow students to continue learning in an engaging way.
