This year my classroom will be a combination of virtual and in-person learning. The materials requested will be used to fulfill both of the learning methods that will be initiated. I am requesting a Swivl series robot, The New York Times Upfront and Newbery Classroom Library Builder. The books will help my students learn why racism is something that we all need to work on in order to make the world a better place.
With this new year being unpredictable the Swivl camera will enable me to create a Hybrid classroom. Students will be learning virtually and in person. I want to make sure that each student feels they are part of a larger learning community while receiving small classroom benefits.
The reading materials will help me teach that racism is something we all need to combat.
