My students live in a very high poverty area. Most of their families are unable to buy school supplies for a regular school year. With this project I will be able to provide each student with whiteboards, writing utensils, book bags, primary composition notebooks, etc. that will help them to be successful during distance learning. It will also provide me with resources that will help with phonics and reading instruction virtually. This year is going to be a learning experience for everyone, but my goal is to start it off with all of the resources my students and I need.
