Students get so much more if they are able to apply their learning in hands on ways. I would like to bring what my students learn in science and math and let them take it to the next level of learning by applying it. By using LEGO education, specifically SPIKE, my students will learn about computer coding, math and scientific method. With hands on learning I hope to inspire my students to look towards their future using technology.
I became exited about LEGO education after sending my own child to a robotics camp. This experience ignited a thirst for learning about coding, robotics and other technology. I would like to bring this experience to my students as well. Many of my students have only the basic skill using technology. I would like to give them the hands on experience using the lessons from LEGO education.
Right now my students are distance learning. I hope to have my robotic lessons ready for them when we return to in person learning. My students need something to look forward to and nothing is more exciting than robots!
