In our school, we empower our students to share their culture, be confident in who they are, and to know and believe their skin tone is beautiful. It is our hope to allow them the opportunity to express this through their drawings, by using colors that don’t come in 24 count box of crayons. We want to make sure every student has the opportunity to express their individuality and build confidence in their value in our diverse community. These crayons will allow each and every student in our school to have their own set to use for remote learning, and will encourage them to create portraits that look like them.
