During the first lockdown in March, students were caught scrambling to secure a device to continue their graphic design assignments at home. Even though the school offered Chromebooks some students were still unable to access the Adobe suite because of the outdated hardware and had to turn in altered assignments. Having an updated device will allow students to work effectively from home for the start of the 2020-21 school year. This iPad will provide a working device to aid students in bridging the digital divide while working from home. I have personally provided 15 drawing tablets from my personal account to help my students work on their projects.
