These amazing Scholastic News articles will be a wonderful tangible education tool. These articles will help students see the things they are learning in science, math, reading and social studies in the real world. Kids need to see that what they learn is useful and it matters. I will use these articles to enhance comprehension of text and supplement their science curriculum. The physical texts will be used in class and the digital options will be an available when students are working from home during their remote learning days. The students that are in my class come from low socioeconomic homes. They do not have the ability to experience much outside their immediate world. These articles will allow them to see the world and all it has to offer from a new light and hopefully will inspire them to be all they can be.
