This iPad and Apple Pencil will help my students become an active part of our daily lessons. During small group instruction, students will be able to work on apps on this device to help fill in some gaps in their understanding so they can be successful on fifth grade skills. During whole-group instruction, students will be able to show their work on our screen at the front of the room, while explaining their thinking. This will help students learn from each other from a safe distance. Students will also be able to see our current problems on the screen and I will be able to work the problem out without having to stand at the front of the room, allowing me to circulate in the room more to provide assistance to all students. Also, in the event that our school or classroom must close, this iPad will be used to provide my students with distance learning through virtual meetings and videos created on this device.
