School is a safe place where we can provide consistency and support! As a school counselor, I am working towards building an inviting counseling experience where students know they are valued and supported! However, many of our students do not have the same consistency and support in their home environment. I work at a Title I school who serves 300+ students who come from various backgrounds. Many of our students' families do not have access to mental health services and I am trying to bridge the gap and advocate for our student's social and emotional health!
