My students need to leave my class ready for kindergarten. Part of being considered kindergarten ready these days is being able to identify letters and the sounds they make. These learning materials will be used to give my students hands-on and engaging ways to learn these early literacy skills. They will be used in centers as well as for small group activities. My hope is that the use of toys and games will make the alphabet more tangible for my students, and bring a bit of fun to learning early literacy skills.
