Students in this class will be studying the style, structure, and technique in everything they read. I think it’s imperative that what they read also opens their eyes and changes their perspective. This memoir will do it all for my students. It connects back to one of my favorite novels to teach, To Kill a Mockingbird. I've been teaching AP Literature for 15 years and am excited to make these positive changes! Unfortunately, it's difficult to purchase books so late in the summer so I would really appreciate your help!
