Our students are heading back into classrooms and have had limited opportunities to socialize due to Covid-19. We will begin our school year with a focus on our student's social and emotional needs. Our district has provided us with a program called Second Step to help us address these needs. This project will provide stories to read aloud and talk together about feelings and emotions to help ease our way back into school. Young children need to know that they are not along in what they are feeling. These stories will also help them to empathize with the characters.
