Having a smart t.v. for the classroom will allow the students to share their ideas with their classmates through remote learning. This educational tool is not only a device to enhance learning but to have students become more engaged. Technology is the top educational & communicative tool being utilized at every home, school, stores, companies, sports, and more! Many of my students, including myself, are visual learners that will obtain the information immediately through an educational technology device such as a smart television.
Canvas, Google Classroom, Slides, Hangouts, Zoom, Bloomz, Kami, Khan Academy, Duolingo, Chrome, and more are educational tools that will be able to view for the students in the classroom or virtual learning from the smart t.v.! This educational device will not only allow students to share their accomplishments through distance learning but able to participate in small/big group conversations during this pandemic.
Our school is on the island of Hawaii, the student population is predominantly low-income, residing in a rural area which is often overlooked and left behind.
