I work with the same students year after year to make progress towards meeting their communication goals. I try to keep it fresh and exciting. New materials allow me to work on meeting goals in many different ways! Some students have 2 or 3 goals that we work on every single week for a year or more. Speech therapy is all about talking. So, having new fun supplies and games gives my students something to talk about. Help me keep my therapy activities enjoyable by providing new materials that we can use to keep working towards meeting those goals.
These amazing speech therapy materials will help to keep my students engaged. I have asked for two different Chipper Chat games, along with some extra chips and wands. These games allow the students to earn chips for each turn they take in a small group. They LOVE earning these chips. Even better, they get to use the magic wand to pick up their chips at the end. I have also asked for a Vocabulary Bingo game to make learning and practicing fun. Kids love playing bingo and there are many ways that we can change up the game to make it different every time we play! The other items I have asked for are all various picture cards. When we practice speech, we try to get as many repetitions as we can during each session. For this reason, I need lots of different picture cards so that we have lots of words to practice! The articulation photo cards, phonology cards, compare and contrast cards and the anytime articulation cards will give me lots of options to make each practice session fun and fresh!
