Science and Social Studies is one of the best way to engage and foster our students love of learning! We have very limited resources when it comes to this content area. This resource would help teach 1st grade literacy and science/social studies standards in a fun, engaging and safe way. We would be able to use Scholastic News to teach a variety of topics and build our students background knowledge in science and social studies. Students would be able to have their own copies to follow along and reread in the classroom and have the opportunity to take it home as well!

About my class
