Most of my students have limited access to books at home and see them as a privilege. Their background knowledge across content areas is often restricted, making it essential to provide concrete materials to support their learning. To ensure mastery, I present concepts through various hands-on resources that make learning more accessible and meaningful.
The materials I’ve selected will help build a strong foundation and expand their background knowledge. I strive to create opportunities for my students to develop both social and academic vocabulary throughout our curriculum. In our classroom, language is a gift, and my students arrive each day eager and ready to learn.
