While virtual teaching on just a laptop it is difficult to show examples of activities and monitor students along with making sure they are getting the concept of the lesson. With an extra monitor, I can be a little more creative and be more functional with my lessons. I can show lessons on one screen instead of toggling between screens. I can also better see how books are being displayed while mainlining the contact needed for my young learners. My students are patient but at times get easily frustrated because of some of the technology mishaps that occur. With the use of an additional monitor I can provide that experience needed to keep these young learners engaged.
