With remote learning being new to all of us, I am hoping to give each one of my students a take home kit of materials they need to help them learn and participate. Having the challenge of reaching each child remotely, I want to make sure my students have what they need so they can participate and be successful.
I am so excited for my students to use the dry erase boards, markers, jumbo pencils and play dough to while they are home during Remote Learning. We will use these materials daily. It will be a great way for the children to participate, build community and show me what they know! The dry erase boards and markers will be used during both ELA and Math. The play dough will be used for the students to form letters as they are learning the letters and their sounds and numbers as we learn numbers. The jumbo pencils are needed as they are developing their fine motor skills and learning to write. It is so much more challenging for Kindergarteners to learn at home, especially since some children have never been to school, so them having the supplies they need to be successful would be so incredibly helpful!
