Students will be provided with one of the best historical fiction novels of all times. They will learn the story of a 10 year old Jewish girl living during WWII. They will learn of her family and the struggles they endure trying to escape occupied Denmark and flee to the safety of Sweden. We will be doing a remote learning novel study and a dry erase easel will allow me to display new vocabulary words, ideas, themes and writing prompts so that every child can view what is being taught.

About my class
