A priority for my classroom this year, is to make my classroom library and read-aloud options more representative of my students lived experiences, and generally more diverse.
My students represent different backgrounds, abilities, and lived experiences, and they deserve to be represented regularly and consistently in the classroom through the books we read and have access to. I want to do all that I can to ensure that each and every student sees themselves reflected and highly valued in my classroom! My goal with this project is to jumpstart that vision through books!
