These items will give students the opportunity to work on basic starting and stopping skills. I will divide the items into individual buckets and put photographs with velcro on the top of the bucket so the student can communicate their wants and needs (making choices) and then the child will get to play with the items. The children will be learning communication skills as well as instructional control by using the timers to give these children a clear ending to the activity. Also teaching the children proper uses for toys.
