I am a middle school teacher in East Los Angeles. I teach 8th Grade ELA, 7th Grade Advisory, and Mindfulness and Art Enrichment. At our school, we have a "Drop Everything And Read" (DEAR) program as well as Accelerated Reading (AR) designed to make reading a part of daily practice for scholars. I have been in education since college but began teaching middle school in 2020. Thank you for supporting my classes! Your donation impacts around 200 scholars every semester.
