These items will help my students stay organized with their belongings and take ownership. They are used to their parents doing everything for them, so they need to establish a sense of independence.
The storage bins will be placed in the room with their name on it, and they need to be able to not only recognize their name but also keep their items neat and tidy in there. This helps build ownership and pride.
The seat sacks will be placed behind their chairs that hold items they will use every day such as, a notebook, their library book, and take home folder. They know that their everyday items are in there and need to have quickly accessed them.
