Every child should feel seen and heard within their classroom. This collection of books will allow students to feel like they are a part of the class community, while also learning more about people from different backgrounds. I have selected books that either highlight important accomplishments or convey a meaningful lesson. These books are meant to inspire the readers to make a difference in their world. During remote learning, I will use these books for read-aloud lessons with classes in grades k-5. Once we return to the building, I plan to use these books as part of a lending library, where teachers can check books out to read to their classes. I can't wait to share the power of words with my amazing students!
About my class
