We use whiteboards everyday in our classroom. Even now, more than ever, whiteboards have become an essential tool for learning. Students practice writing letters and numbers, solving math equations and writing sight words during spelling drills. Using whiteboards enable students to focus and see what mistakes if any, they may have made. The students are able to share their answers on the whiteboards to demonstrate topic understanding. And for those students who are shy and may not want to talk in front of the class, they can express themselves using the whiteboards.
As a paper and pencil saver, focus saver, and easy to care for classroom material item, whiteboards are a valuable tool for student learning.
