With our district beginning the year in Distance Learning, I am hoping to put together a tool kit for each of my students to use at home for our lessons. We will be writing on our whiteboards together to support letter formation and sentence structure. Number lines and unifix cubes are a great tool for teaching counting, 1:1 correspondence, addition & subtraction, and place value. Additionally, Teachers Pay Teachers has a wealth of amazing teacher-created materials that help support our curriculum.
I believe that children learn best when activities are hands-on rather than simply looking at a computer screen.
Please help me bring these classroom tools into my students' homes to help set them up for success!
