It has been proven through research that if students have concepts elaborated, they will learn those concepts better. By having books about different scientific phenomena, students will have the opportunity to better understand these concepts. I intend to give students the option to do book reports which I have never been able to do before due to the lack of books. Students are getting to practice literacy and learning about science at the same time. My students are bilingual and practicing reading in English will also strengthen their grasp of English literature.

About my class
