With the emphasis in education shifting to a virtual at-home model, it's important that students still have access to the basics. In a classroom setting, each student maintains their supplies in an organized fashion at their desk. In the home, this may not be as easy, especially with other siblings who may be fighting over limited materials. By supplying each student with everything that they need to start the year off on the right foot, anxiety and stress will be minimized and excitement and creativity will flourish.
Has anyone seen my supplies? This will not be a question that these students will have to ask. Each student will be provided their own pencil box filled with everything they need to ensure that they are ready to learn and perform their best. Learning to read a map, drawing a picture to illustrate their thinking, writing their opinions about a shared text, and quickly showing their work on a dry erase board for a math equation gives students the same opportunities as they would have in class while working in their home.
Every student deserves a successful start to their school year and your donation will help make that possible.
