Learning a second language has become necessary in order to succeed in any area, and our students are not the exception. In fact, the best time to do it is when they are of school age. But let's keep it real, in order to have a full learning and engagement, they need the full experience. And . . . what is that? Well, not only learning the language but experiencing the culture and traditions of those countries and their locals.
Through the tablets that my students need, I will take them on a trip to all 22 Hispanic countries while we learn and practice the Spanish language. Thanks to technology, my students will be able to interact live with other students from the countries that we will be visiting on our technological journey. They will exchange experiences, they will be able to ask and answer questions and see how their classrooms look, but most importantly practice their Spanish with Hispanic students.
This will be a unique and wonderful educational experience that our students will cherish and will never forget. But at the same time, it will help them become successful professionals in the very near future.
