Students need to have access to books while they are at school. My current library is very small. I know that by adding more books it will bring excitement to my students. I believe that having access to a variety of books will improve my students reading skills. My students won't get bored of reading if they have multiple to choose from. First grade is just the beginning of a student's reading skills. I want to give them the opportunity to have more books and expand on what genre they enjoy the most.
