My special education students have difficulty with reading at their grade level. Many of these kids don’t like to read, but I want to change that. My goal is to provide every student with a book or two at home and have in-depth discussions via Google Meet or Zoom! I hope to be able to purchase these titles and drop 1-2 of them off at each student's house. We will read chapters together, have students read chapters on their own or I will record the chapter readings where they will listen and follow along in their book as it is being read. This will be an excellent way to connect, ask questions, have discussions, and actually get excited about books!
