Have you ever drawn on an iPad? Many say that it can be very relaxing. Have you ever tried to take notes on one? Using the Notes application can assist with this. What about taking math notes? Drawing equations and solving problems becomes complicated and messy.
Providing a stylus for each of my 104 sixth graders will help eliminate the frustration of notetaking with our fingertips and allow them to neatly take notes, practice solving problems and engage in math content.
The bluetooth stylus set will be used for my in-school students. As much as I would love these kind of stylus pens for every one of my students, I know that is not very realistic because of the expense of each pen. However, my next best option for my distance learners is a stylus that is functional for taking notes and completing homework. Having these will keep 6th grade math the focus and eliminate unnecessary frustration with technology.
