I adding to the school library media center's collection where students are able to check out books to take home and enjoy. The collections need to be updated since new literature is always being published and perspectives are ever-changing. Students need to be able to see themselves as both the protagonist and antagonist in quality literature. They also need to practice empathy towards those that are different from themselves. With our world changing so rapidly, they also need to have updated information. I believe that if students have books that represent themselves they will be excited to read.

About my class
