With the amount of uncertainty and discomfort currently in the world, I want to make sure our classroom is a place where my students feel the opposite! Being that my school will be rotating the groups of students that are in the building at one time, it is important for each one of them to have their own set of materials, while also having a set place to store them, efficiently. The seat sacks in my project will be a great help for my classroom being that each student will get their own and they will be easy to switch when the second group of students come into school.
Lastly, I will be teaching in a diverse school, therefore it is extremely important for me to be able to provide my students with texts that they can relate to while also learning new information about cultures other than their own. Although it is not a lot of books, they will still be a great addition to our classroom library!
