In the Pre-Kindergarten classroom, students are between ages 3 and 5. At this age, students learn best through high quality hands-on experiences. They learn what they DO, not what they HEAR/SEE, but this requires a number of supplies to accomplish.
As a Title I campus, the majority of my students are from low socio-economic status. Many have not received language rich learning opportunities, and throughout the pandemic, have not experienced social rules/norms (sharing, manners, emotional regulation).
I want to give them that language rich environment, and help them learn/experience social norms and emotional regulation!
These additional materials will help take their academic and social education from theoretical to experiential.
Thank you for considering my project! I truly appreciate any help you can offer!
