Graphing calculators are a tool necessary for my students to be successful in math class and on the state standardized test. My students are expected to solve problems and use programs on the Ti-84 graphing calculators to meet the state requirements and standards. However, the current calculators provided by the district are in need of repair and are missing programs needed for my students. These students deserve better! With new graphing calculators they will be able to achieve better test scores and can be more competitive with other school districts.
