Do you remember the old Light Bright system from the 80's? We spent hours making colorful designs. Light Brights are so yesterday. Today... it's the light table!
With this tool, our students can count, sort, and build while stimulating their visual sensory.
Most of our students with Autism Spectrum Disorder want to play by themselves. However, this station is so popular, they will play with it no matter who is already there. It works on fine motor (manipulating items), counting, sorting, letter/number recognition, patterns and most importantly... socialization and turn taking.
Large and engaging centers invite sharing and socialization - two things our students on the spectrum need consistent practice with.
Thank you for your interest in our program. I appreciate you taking the time to look at our request and reading about our program.
