Using these items will allow students with low mobility, visual and hearing impairments, cognitive and communication disabilities to access the curriculum and enjoy the quality of life available to people with fewer or no disabilities.
The use of the goosenecks and the speakers allow us to increase visual and audio input for individualized learning.
Our current devices are too old to update to the newest iOS, therefore the newest accessibility options are not available. Having a new iPad will allow us to use these options for optimized learning for at least one student. We are hoping for more in the future.
