Education is changing every single day, and so are the interests of my students. I’m confident that these new books will help my students see themselves represented in texts which I know will ignite a new desire for reading in them.
Students who read these new books will find relatable characters, enjoyable themes, and interesting topics, while improving their reading skills. These books that I have selected will be used in a variety of ways such as read aloud, self selected reading, book clubs and be used to teach social emotional skills.
