The materials I am requesting will not only help my current class of 13 students, but many children in years to come. I want my students to walk through the classroom door and see a welcoming environment where students can learn to be communicators and problem solvers through play.
Throughout the year, my students will be engaged by multicultural literature that relates to each of their diverse backgrounds. My students will learn to value what makes them different and feel confident in their own skin. My hope, is that these materials help me to create confident, compassionate students who go on to make a difference in the world.
